If I remember rightly, the team Bedford was deemed unfit for service before the 1975 season got under way, and so a self-drive coach was hired from National Travel? I remember two drivers being John Deegan and Dennis Fawcett.

Hi skytours Think you might be getting mixed up with the Gibraltar show. Seems to ring a bell that a club ( needed a personal turnover of £,1 million) hired QE2 for Med cruise and we did a show on Gibraltar. Don't think we out of country 24 hrs.

I lifted this photo from this same site and cleaned it up a bit. This is John Deegan driving, with Don "Slagger" Reynolds on pillion, on a Triumph Adventurer. It is most probably at Catterick in the early to mid 1970's.

When I enlarge the pic now, I can see that it's not Vince. You're right, Dave. Quite a similarity from a distance on a smaller scale, though.

Loz, and as I remember him - super lad with an attitude on life to be envied. Always made me and many others laugh, especially when the going got a bit tough - such a sad loss.
